Clear boundaries help everyone.
ADHDadUK combines professional coaching practice, workplace understanding, and lived experience to support clearer conversations around neurodiversity, mental health, leadership, and workplace performance.
That said, it’s important to be clear about what this work is — and what it isn’t.
Coaching is not therapy
Coaching offered through ADHDadUK is reflective and developmental in nature.
It is designed to support:
-
clearer thinking
-
reflection
-
personal or professional development
-
workplace conversations
-
practical progress
It is not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, or psychiatric treatment.
Lived experience is perspective, not clinical advice
Some work draws on lived experience of:
-
ADHD
-
mental health challenges
-
substance use disorder
-
long-term recovery
-
workplace experience
This perspective can be valuable.
But lived experience should not be treated as medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice.
No crisis or emergency support
ADHDadUK does not provide crisis intervention or emergency mental health support.
If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support:
-
call emergency services
-
contact your GP
-
access appropriate crisis services
Organisational outcomes
Speaking, coaching, and advisory work can support clearer thinking, stronger conversations, and practical development.
But no organisation-wide outcome can be guaranteed.
Real change depends on leadership, culture, implementation, and wider organisational factors.
Individual responsibility
Clients and organisations remain responsible for their own decisions, actions, and implementation.
ADHDadUK supports reflection, conversation, and practical development — not decision-making on behalf of others.
